Description
100% of my royalties from "Reunion" reproductions will go directly to www.orcanetwork.org to assist with efforts to return Tokitae (“Lolita”) to her home waters in Washington State and release her to an open ocean sea-pen for rehabilitation where her family, the L-pod migrates. She has been held captive for forty-seven years in a small tank at the Miami Seaquarium. Think of living in a bathtub that entire time with no ability to communicate with your family! Ocean Sun, her 89 year old mother, has been waiting long enough for this re-union since her daughter was violently kidnapped from her when Toki was only a four year old. Now Toki has had to endure Hurricane Irma abandoned and alone in a dirty pool where she couldn't even dive or escape. The original acrylic painting was donated for an Orca Network
auction in Chicago, IL on May 24, 2014. Please sign petitions to release her and write letters to Palace Entertainment and the Miami Seaquarium. This incredibly intelligent and emotional, sentient and self-aware being has made them enough money doing stupid tricks for over 47 years. Thank you!
