Description
I am a big fan of our oceans and diving off the central coast of California, though not providing the most ideal conditions, was a mystical experience. Some of the most intelligent as well as the most mysterious species on earth dwell in the oceans that surround our continents. The nautilus shell comprises a very close example of the "golden spiral" or "golden mean". Though some mathematical professors would disagree that it resembles the exact Fibonacci spiral, its beauty and elegance is second to none.
